Terms & Conditions

A legal disclaimer

Care Crew provides non-medical home help and support services including light maintenance, gardening, tech assistance, home check-ins, and other approved tasks. Services are offered on a one-off or subscription basis, depending on your selected plan.

Bookings & Cancellations

  • Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • You may cancel or reschedule your booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled time with no penalty.

  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may incur a 50% fee. No-shows will be charged in full.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule in the event of staff illness or unforeseen circumstances.

 

3. Payments

  • All services must be paid for in advance at the time of booking.

  • Subscription plans (monthly help hours) renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the next billing cycle.

  • We accept major credit/debit cards via secure payment processing (e.g. Shopify Payments or Stripe).

T&C provide you as the website owner the ability to protect yourself from potential legal exposure, but this may differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, so make sure to receive local legal advice if you are trying to protect yourself from legal exposure.

4. Scope of Work

  • Care Crew does not provide medical, personal, or high-risk services (e.g. electrical work, roofing, plumbing requiring certification, or lifting heavy loads beyond safe limits).

  • Tasks will be confirmed before service begins to ensure they fall within our scope.

  • If a requested task is outside our scope, we will do our best to refer you to a trusted professional.

5. Safety & Access

  • Clients must provide safe, accessible working conditions. Our crew members reserve the right to refuse service if the environment is unsafe.

  • Please ensure pets are secured and that someone is home (if needed) during the appointment.

 

6. Service Hours

  • Service hours are tracked and logged. Unused time from subscription plans does not roll over unless previously arranged.

  • Minimum booking time is 1 hour. Subscription plans include 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours per month depending on your plan.

 

7. Liability

  • Care Crew is fully insured. While we take all reasonable care, we are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing issues, misuse, or any work not performed by our team.

  • Clients must notify us of any hazards or special requirements before service begins.

 

8. Privacy Policy

  • All personal information collected is kept confidential and used solely for booking, communication, and service improvement. We do not sell or share your information with third parties.

9. Changes to Terms

  • Care Crew reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and take effect immediately.
